DOMINANT SCALE:

The four dominant scale structures shown below are a part of the dominant scale family which also include the Whole Tone (6 tone scale), Diminished, Diminished Whole Tone and Blues Scale. As discussed above and below, the blues scale is part of the major, dominant and minor scale families.
